Forrest Performance Group (FPG) is a sales training company headquartered in Fort Worth, TX. Founded by Jason Forrest in 2008, FPG quickly became known for its ability to transform sales teams through mindset coaching and performance psychology. While their primary clients are new homebuilders, they have had the privilege of training sales professionals in a wide range of industries, both nationally and internationally.

In 2020, FPG expanded its services to include Sales Recruiting—not because it was part of a master plan, but because they had no choice. Jason realized that despite years of helping clients build world-class sales teams, there wasn’t a single recruiting partner he could fully trust to align with his standards. So, much like how Amazon created AWS to solve its own infrastructure challenges—FPG created a recruiting division to meet a pressing internal and client-driven need.

The recruiting division grew rapidly, but as it matured, it also began to pull Jason further from his core passion: training. It became clear that for the recruiting business to truly scale, it needed its own leadership, focus, and infrastructure.

In 2023, Marshall Scabet joined FPG as VP of Operations. After stepping in to oversee recruiting as VP of Recruiting, he uncovered a similar passion for talent acquisition—but also recognized the inherent tension between running two fast-moving companies under one roof. Rather than compromise either vision, Jason and Marshall chose to evolve.

In 2025, with Jason’s full support, Marshall launched Precision Sales Recruiting as a standalone company. The decision wasn’t about separating—it was about scaling with intention. Just as AWS became a juggernaut by breaking free from Amazon’s eCommerce shadow, Precision was given the autonomy to thrive while maintaining a strategic alliance with FPG.

We remain a close partner to FPG—benefiting from their globally ranked training expertise—so that our clients receive not just great talent, but a strategic advantage that transforms that talent into top producers.
