Why We Contacted You

Targeted Research, Not Mass Outreach

If Precision Sales Recruiting has reached out to you, it is because your experience, accomplishments, and professional reputation match what our clients are looking for in a manufacturing sales professional. We do not send mass outreach. Every candidate we contact has been identified through targeted research into competitive sales teams at manufacturing, capital equipment, and industrial technology companies.

Our clients are mid-market and growth-stage manufacturers who partner with us to find sales professionals who can sell complex products, manage long sales cycles, and build trusted relationships with technical buyers.

When you hear from us, you are being considered for an opportunity that has been qualified for compensation, territory, leadership support, and growth potential before we ever made the call.

What You Can Expect From Us

Why Candidates Work With Precision Sales Recruiting

Our reputation with candidates matters as much as our reputation with clients. Here is how we treat the people we represent.

Confidentiality

Your resume, compensation details, assessment results, and personal information are never shared with a client without your explicit consent. If you are currently employed, your search stays between you and your recruiter until you decide otherwise.

Communication

You will hear from your recruiter at every stage of the process. If there is an update, you will receive it. If there is a delay, you will know why. If the search does not move forward, you will be told directly, not left waiting.

Guidance

Your recruiter will take the time to understand your career goals, compensation expectations, and what matters to you in your next role. If the opportunity is not the right fit, we will tell you, and we will keep you in our network for future searches that are.

Feedback

After every step in the process, you will receive honest, specific feedback on where you stand and what comes next. No guessing. No silence.

Advocacy

Your recruiter is your advocate throughout the process. We represent you to the client, support you through interviews, and work to negotiate an offer that reflects your value.

Our Process

What Happens at Each Stage

Every candidate goes through a structured evaluation process designed to match you with the right opportunity, not just any open role. Here is what to expect at each stage.

01
Initial Contact

Outreach

Our recruiting team identifies top-performing sales professionals through competitive landscape mapping and targeted outbound research. If we contact you, it is because your background matches a specific search we are running for a manufacturing or industrial client.

02
15 Minutes

Discovery Call

We schedule an initial call to learn about you: your background, your current role, your career goals, and what you are looking for in your next opportunity. This is a two-way conversation. We want to understand whether the role is a fit for you, not just whether you are a fit for the role.

03
Structured Evaluation

The PRECISION Method Evaluation

Candidates who move past the discovery call enter our structured evaluation process, The PRECISION Method. This includes:

  • A structured behavioral interview designed to assess how you sell, how you solve problems, and how you have delivered results in past roles. This is not a personality conversation. It is a skills and behavior evaluation calibrated to the specific type of manufacturing sale the role requires.
  • A psychometric assessment (SPQ*GOLD) that measures sales call reluctance, prospecting motivation, and behavioral traits that predict long-term success in manufacturing sales. Your recruiter will explain the assessment before you begin.
  • Scoring across the PRECISION Scorecard, which evaluates nine dimensions: Procedural, Resilience, Execution, Coachability, Image and Professionalism, Sales Identity, Initiative, Ownership, and Numbers.

Only candidates who clear all three evaluation layers are presented to the client.

04
With Your Consent

Client Submission

Once you have completed the evaluation, your recruiter packages your profile, including your resume, a recruiter assessment summary, and a fit analysis against the role requirements. This is presented to the client for review. Your profile is never submitted without your consent.

05
We Stay With You

Client Interview

If selected, we schedule an interview with you and the client. Your recruiter will prepare you for the interview, attend the initial portion to facilitate introductions and context, and debrief with both you and the client afterward to capture immediate feedback.

The client determines whether additional interviews or on-site visits are required.

06
Your Recruiter Advocates For You

Offer and Negotiation

When an offer is extended, your recruiter works with both you and the client to negotiate terms that meet your expectations. We advise on compensation, start date, benefits, and any other terms to ensure the offer reflects the value you bring.

07
First 90 Days

Onboarding Support

After acceptance, we check in during your first 90 days to ensure a smooth transition. Your recruiter remains available if you need support during onboarding or ramp.
