We are seeking a Regional Sales Director to take ownership of a territory, lead from the front, and drive measurable growth. This is a player-coach leadership role for someone who can both win business and develop a team that does the same.

What You Will Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to grow revenue and profitability
- Identify and win new business across industrial, manufacturing, and construction sectors
- Expand share within existing accounts through value-based selling
- Coach, mentor, and hold accountable a team of outside sales professionals
- Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and activity standards
- Build a culture of ownership, urgency, and performance
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers and partners
- Lead complex negotiations, contracts, and long-term agreements
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Ensure consistent prospecting and balanced territory coverage
- Maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
- Align closely with operations and internal teams to deliver on commitments
What We Are Looking For
- 10 or more years of B2B sales experience in steel, metals, or industrial distribution
- 5 or more years of sales leadership experience
- Proven track record of driving growth in competitive, price-sensitive markets
- Player-coach mindset. You do not just manage — you lead from the front
- Strong ability to coach and develop sales talent
- Data-driven with a disciplined approach to pipeline and forecasting
- Hunter mentality with the ability to open new doors
- Skilled at selling value rather than competing on price
- Strong negotiation and closing ability in complex deals
How Performance Is Measured
- Consistent regional revenue and margin growth
- A strong, active pipeline of new business
- Increased penetration of key accounts
- A motivated, accountable, high-performing sales team
Where and How You Will Work
- Remote or office-based flexibility — you are not tied to a desk
- Frequent travel, typically 70 to 80 percent, to customers, company locations, and industry events
