Our client is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to close high-intent buyers in a short sales cycle environment. This is a role for a closer who wants volume, speed, and uncapped upside.

Most customers make a buying decision within 24 hours to 7 days, so follow-up discipline, phone confidence, and value-based selling matter more than long-cycle relationship building.

Why This Role Exists

Our client previously had a top producer and wants to add another A-player who can:

  • Raise the performance bar

  • Drive higher monthly unit volume

  • Help capture additional market share 

What You Will Do

Close short-cycle trailer sales

  • Work high-volume inbound leads from marketing and phone inquiries

  • Move prospects from inquiry to decision quickly using a structured sales process 

Sell value, not price

  • Identify the customer’s use case fast (work, recreation, fleet, construction)

  • Position build quality, lead time, and total cost of ownership as the differentiator 

Use video to close remotely

  • Use FaceTime or Zoom to walk customers through inventory and options

  • Close deals with deposits and coordinate delivery steps 

Operate with discipline

  • High daily outbound activity (the target discussed was 100 calls per day)

  • Consistent CRM usage and follow-up that prevents leads from going cold

  • You consistently close buyers before they shop around

  • You follow up fast and often, without needing reminders

  • You hit aggressive volume goals (the benchmark discussed was 100 trailers per month) 

  • You want to win and you want uncapped income

Ideal Background

This role is a strong fit for sales professionals with experience in:

  • In-home services sales (roofing, flooring, windows, solar)

  • High-volume phone sales or transactional closing roles

  • Ticket sales, promotional sales, or other fast-cycle environments

  • Industrial, construction-adjacent, or equipment-related sales (helpful, not required) 

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of closing experience in a short sales cycle environment 

  • Strong phone presence and comfort closing via video

  • Competitive mindset and high personal drive

  • Strong computer skills and willingness to use CRM daily 

Nice to have

  • Competitive sports background

  • Entrepreneurial background or evidence you consistently outwork peers

  • Experience selling premium products where value must be explained 

Compensation (Two Options)

Our client is open to two compensation structures:

Option 1: Commission-focused

  • Higher commission per trailer (example discussed: $300 per trailer)

  • No base salary

  • Uncapped earnings 

Option 2: Base + commission

  • Base salary range discussed: $35,000 to $40,000

  • Commission per trailer (example discussed: $200 per trailer, with some lower-ticket units paying less)

  • Uncapped earnings 

Commission timing: Paid after delivery and payment, with a monthly commission check and a bi-weekly pay structure for base compensation.
