They are hiring a Territory Sales Manager to own new business development and grow OEM relationships across a national territory. This is a field-based, individual contributor role focused on hunting, relationship building, and long-cycle sales.

What You Will Do
- Own new account prospecting and business development across a national territory
- Build pipeline within target industries, including:
- Medical device and surgical instrument OEMs
- Aerospace manufacturers operating in AS9100 environments
- Defense and DoD contractors
- Develop relationships with purchasing managers, purchasing agents, and engineering stakeholders
- Lead discovery, coordinate quoting activity, and manage opportunities through long sales cycles
- Travel regularly to visit prospects and customers in person
- Partner closely with internal teams on feasibility, pricing, timelines, and execution
- Maintain visibility into pipeline and activity using internal systems and sales tools
⚠️ This is not an inbound or RFQ-only role. Success requires disciplined prospecting and consistent follow-through.
Work Location and Schedule
This role is not remote.
- During the ramp period, you are expected to be on-site full-time to learn the business, products, and processes
- As ramp progresses, time shifts toward field travel — with office time when not visiting customers
- Standard office hours are approximately 7:30am–5:00pm
- National travel required as part of the ongoing role
What Our Client Is Looking For
- Proven success in outside B2B sales within manufacturing or technical environments
- Experience selling custom, engineered, or contract manufacturing solutions
- Comfort engaging both purchasing and engineering stakeholders
- Ability to manage longer sales cycles with disciplined follow-up
- Strong work ethic, accountability, and ownership mentality
- Willingness to travel nationally and work on-site when not in the field
- Background in:
- Contract manufacturing
- Precision machining or precision parts
- CNC or 5-axis machining environments
- Experience selling into medical, aerospace, or defense supply chains
- Existing OEM relationships within targeted industries
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience
