Schedule a One-Hour Intake With the Recruiting Team

This is the single most important meeting of the search. The intake call defines the role, the must-haves, the target candidate profile, and the competitive landscape. Pick a time that works and the recruiting team will come prepared.

Before the Call

How to Prepare

The intake call runs faster and produces a sharper search when key stakeholders are aligned beforehand. A few quick steps to get the most out of the hour:

  • Identify the decision makers. Anyone with veto power on the hire should attend or be represented in the intake.
  • Pull together the job description. Even a rough draft helps. The recruiting team will sharpen it on the call.
  • Define the must-haves and nice-to-haves. Distinguishing the two up front is the single biggest accelerator of the search.
  • Have the compensation structure ready. Base, OTE, bonus structure, benefits, car allowance, any equity or LTIP.
  • Be ready to discuss what success looks like 6 and 12 months into the role.
On the Call

What to Expect

The intake call follows a structured agenda built around The PRECISION Method. The recruiting team drives the conversation. You provide context.

  • Role profile. Title, scope, reporting structure, team composition, and territory.
  • Buying environment. Who the candidate sells to, the typical sales cycle, deal sizes, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ideal candidate. Industry, experience, sales motion, and the behavioral traits that fit your team and culture.
  • Compensation alignment. Confirming the offer structure attracts the candidates you want.
  • Process and cadence. Setting expectations for interview steps, weekly updates, and submission flow.
