Overview
Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to lead nationwide dealer and channel sales for a growing electric mobility manufacturer. This is a high-visibility, sales-first role designed for a strong individual contributor who wants real influence, autonomy, and a clear path into sales leadership.
This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys owning a territory, building relationships face-to-face, and helping shape how a sales organization scales in the U.S. market. You will not be stepping into a rigid, overbuilt sales structure. Instead, you will help define it.
What You Will Do
Own dealer and channel sales across the United States
Build and expand relationships with independent dealers and multi-location partners
Conduct in-person and virtual product demonstrations
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
Drive revenue through disciplined territory planning and execution
Help refine sales strategy, territory coverage, and go-to-market approach
Oversee and support part-time sales representatives as markets mature
Travel is expected to be approximately 60 to 70 percent initially and will decrease as territories stabilize and additional sales support is added.

Priority markets include California, Texas, Florida, New York, and Denver
Performance Expectations
This role is designed for someone who thrives with clear expectations and measurable outcomes.
Year-one team revenue target of $7M to $10M
Personal contribution of approximately 30 percent of total revenue
First sale expected within approximately 45 days
Compensation and Upside
Base salary range of $70,000 to $90,000
Tiered commission structure up to 1.5 percent at quota attainment
Additional commission override on managed sales representatives
Estimated on-target earnings of $150,000, with upside tied directly to performance
Travel expenses reimbursed

Who This Role Is For

4 to 7 or more years of B2B territory sales experience
Proven success selling through dealers, distributors, or channel partners
Comfort with travel and autonomy in managing a large territory
Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
A desire to grow into leadership while remaining sales-focused
Nice to Have
Mandarin fluency or familiarity with Chinese business culture
